Southmore Court is an exercise in thoughtful renewal.
Rather than replacing what already exists, the design carefully extends the building, introducing a contemporary architectural language that sits comfortably alongside its established setting. Rich brickwork, handcrafted clay tiles and deeply recessed openings create a façade of depth, texture and permanence, while generous glazing and carefully composed landscaping bring light, openness and a renewed sense of arrival.
Approved by Bromley Council Planning Committee, the scheme was recognised during the committee meeting as helping bring aged living in the borough into the 21st century.

The project transforms an established later-living community through architecture that is both elegant and purposeful. Every intervention has been carefully considered to improve the daily experience of residents, creating a building that feels contemporary, welcoming and enduring without losing sight of its history.
